We are currently recruiting an experienced Operations Manager for a 4* Hotel in Sligo. The role will require the effective and efficient management of all Restaurant, Bar and Events business and coordinating all day to day activities in the Hotel during your shift. Note there is large Volume Banqueting / Events at this Hotel and also several smaller meeting rooms, all in constant use. Requirements. · Experience in managing busy Restaurant and Bar Outlets, Room service, Events. · Candidates need experience managing large Conferences, Private Dining. · Front of House experience required to offer colleagues assistance in this area. · Must display effective leadership and team management abilities. · Reliable, committed, motivated and above all professional person. · A positive attitude, a “can do” approach, friendly and outgoing personality. · Duty Management experience required, ideally in a 4* Hotel in Ireland. · Work Permit is not available for this role, full legal status to work in Ireland is required. · Fluent English and excellent IT skills required. Responsibilities. · Manage daily operations and coordinating all areas of the hotel. · Lead and guide the team as required during service periods / Duty shift. · Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene prevail. · Observe all shift and opening / closing procedures adhering to all Company guidelines. · Provide leadership and facilitate a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all.
