Front Office Manager opportunity at 4* Hotel in Sligo, the FOM will be required to ensure that the Front Office department excels in the highest of standards of guest care. They will ensure that the team are fully trained in all aspects of their roles and that the department provides a smooth and effective service. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in people management, understand and deliver on budgets and revenue, with experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry. The role will entail: The effective and smooth operation of the Front Office Department. Liaising with Senior Management on optimising sales and revenue growth. Positioning, presentation and rate management on third party websites in consultation with the Revenue Manager and General Manager. Supporting the sales and revenue strategies, maximising rooms occupancy and room rate. Ensuring that all weekly / monthly reports for the department are completed. Effectively manage the team and coordinating the rota for the Department. Responsibility for training and development of all staff through use of departmental SOPs. Ensure that the Front Office team are trained and adhere to the Radisson brand and group standards. Working alongside the General Manager & Finance team to ensure that budgets are set and achieved. Dealing with all enquires through all forms of communication media. Ensuring that the standards of the Hotel are maintained at all time. Attending Management meetings on a weekly basis. Handling general administration duties. Ensuring all Company & Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times. Duty Manager responsibly when required. * Essential Criteria for the role: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Knowledge of Opera or Alkimii system would be an advantage. A confident and enthusiastic approach to service management and guest experience. Excellent knowledge of MS Word / Excel / Outlook. Flexibility to work week days and weekends. A Natural Yes I Can! attitude. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Communicate fluently in English (written & oral. EU or Stamp 4 only - no Work Permit is available.
