Safety Officer. Construction Industry. North West. Sligo. Mayo. Galway. Donegal. Salary DOE. A leading Irish Contractor is looking to recruit a Safety Officer for a North West based role. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or higher in relevant field with 2 years construction experience. The ideal candidate will join a medium sized enterprise and will satisfy the following criteria; Diploma in a relevant field such as Safety Management, Health and Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, Quality Environmental Health and Safety. 2 years experience with a main contractor/ sub-contractor. Preferably has worked on commercial, residential or fit out projects. Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety requirements. Has worked alongside HSA requirements. IOSH/NEBOSH certification an advantage but not a definite requirement. Happy to work in the North West region with full driving license. Excellent communication skills. Proficient in MS Office. Has collated safety statements. Has conducted tool box talks. Excellent reporting skills within safety documentation.
