Scheduler - Contract - Sligo






Our client, a leading company in Sligo, is seeking a Production Scheduler. Duties & Responsibilites: Using the ERP, ensuring input of affiliates requirements on thesystem especially in cases of Ramp Up Ramp down. Create a level. schedule to satisfy affiliates requirements and capacity. • Develop and maintain the production schedule. • Create and maintain the ERP data in accordance with company. policy and procedures. • Maintain accurate inventory transactions quantities and due dates. • Prepare as necessary documentation for the disposal of all obsolete or. rejected materials in accordance with the company policies and. procedures especially expired material. • Monitor and Control inventories of Finished Goods, W.I.P and Raw. Materials ensuring achievement of plant inventory goal. • Issue production monitoring reports as required such as Department. and Site Metrics. Education & Background: Appropriate qualification in either Purchasing/Productions Planning e.g. Diploma in Purchasing or relevant APICS (American Production and. Inventory Control Society) examinations. or. • General Degree with relevant Manufacturing experience. At least two years experience in production planning in a manufacturing. company. Preferably previous experience with planning short shelf life. products. • Overall experience required is 3 years.
