My client, a world leading Pharmaceutical Company based in County Sligo, is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planner to join their growing team on a permanent basis. The desired Supply Chain Planner will have responsibility for the formulation and execution of strategic goals to build and support an efficient and globally integrated supply chain for new and existing products. They will be required to support/drive process and system improvement projects in line with business needs. The Supply Chain Planner will contribute to demand, supply and capacity planning as well as master scheduling and materials requirements planning. This role includes all related supply chain activities including planning parameters upkeep and data maintenance, inventory modelling, data analysis etc. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Supply Chain Planner who is looking to expand their career with a growing company. Responsibilities: Support the Monthly SOP Process. Sales Order Management. Manage customer relationships for Client produced products. Rough Cut Capacity Planning. Master Production Scheduling. Maintain and Manage MPS/MRP Process. Item Master, Bill of Materials & SAP Maintenance. Ensure Planning is run according to Class A principles. Generate and Manage Transition Plans for NPI Process. Represent Supply Chain Dept on projects and initiative as required. Generate plans to ensure all customer orders are met on time in full while balancing inventory levels. Adhere to all procedures policies and guidelines ensuring compliance with cGMP and HPRA/FDA regulations and Client policies, procedures and guidelines. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree or equivalent in an appropriate Technical or Business Discipline. APICS or IIPMM desired but not essential. 3-4 years of supply chain planning experience in biopharma or highly regulated manufacturing industry. Experience in using an ERP system such as SAP required. Experience interacting with supply chain partners, i.e. vendors, customers, and planning centres. Proven ability managing business processes, product supply vs demand, changes to production plan and communication. Requires a very high level of attention to detail and mental concentration, to ensure accuracy and total compliance with procedures at all times. Must be results-driven striving to meet all targets and metric standards as set by site/department and division leaders. Requires total commitment to quality and a high standard of work at all times.
