We are currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team, based in Sligo on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, key responsibilities for this role are as follows: Supervise with daily warehouse activities to ensure all appropriate targets are being achieved by employees. Ensure skills mix within the warehouse and all employees are trained to achieve objectives. Ensure all equipment maintained and available for shift activities and to meet customer requirements. Manage workflow in the warehouse to ensure objectives are achieved and to meet operational demands and customer requirements. To monitor and manage the performance of those within area of control. Supervise health & safety in the warehouse and ensure operations are compliant with the appropriate risk assessments. Ensure security policies are complied with at all times. Ensure the warehouse hygiene is maintained. Ensure stock availability to meet customer demands and needs. To ensure an orderly handover at the end of shift. To ensure replenishment of items throughout shift and in preparation for next day pick. The ideal candidate will possess some of the following skills: Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must have strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, lead and motivate a team. Must have excellent I.T. Skills. Previous experience with WMS technology an advantage. A qualification in warehousing or logistics would be advantageous.
