Applications are invited for the role of Hotel Deputy Manager for an award-winning property in Sligo. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Deputy Manager will lead and support all hotel departments and operations. This hands-on role will require candidates with high levels of professionalism, motivation, excellent communications and leadership skills along with sound business acumen. 3-4 years experience at senior management level in a 4 star hotel required. Main Responsibilities: Implement and maintain highest possible standards of customer care throughout the property. Maximise profitability through cost controls, stock management and upselling training and techniques with staff. Delivering on budgeted food & beverage and payroll costs. Ensure impeccable presentation and maintenance standards of all areas of the Hotel. Promote the succession planning policy of the hotel in overseeing a positive attitude of staff training and development. A strong work ethic with emphasis on effective communication practices. Monitoring and following up of guest feedback - ensuring all complaints are dealt with in a timely manner. Excellent terms and conditions await the successful candidate.
