Acrow Recruitment is seeking an Operations Supervisor to work with a well-established civils contractor for work within the Sligo/Leitrim region. This position is to join an Operations team that ensures the treatment of sewage and waste water to the required standard. The ideal candidate will have the flexibility and competence to operate and maintain multiple sites. Duties will include: •Liaise and co-ordinate with Operations Management and team members on operating activities, including managing the out of hours standby system. •Manage a team of operators at the various Waste water treatment sites and liaise with supporting M&E teams to complete reactive and proactive maintenance. •Ensure compliance EC Directives including Health & Safety, and identify commercial and optimisation opportunities and execute commercial responsibilities. •Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports (Internal and external. •Work with Design & Build Project Managers to minimise impact of upgrade works and also to manage process commissioning activities. Requirements: •Degree/Diploma in Environmental Science or related qualification. •5+ years related experience in Water/ Waste Water Operations, with a proven ability to lead and support business improvements, maximise resources and achieve operational excellence. •Proficient in IT. •Ability to communicate and build relationships with clients and engage teams to deliver on results. •Must possess a full clean drivers licence. Please note: This position requires that you are flexible and available outside of the normal working week to provide/organise immediate attendance to site as required.
