Your Job Purpose. Working with the LotusWorks team as a Health & Safety Officer, you will assist in carrying out H&S audits on our client facilities nationwide. Responsibilities. Conduct internal audits in relation to ISO 9001:2015 (Quality), ISO 14001:2015 (Env), OHSAS 18001:2007 (H&S. Assist in carrying out H&S audits on our client facilities nationwide - Ensure LotusWorks personnel have a safe working environment and that they are trained and competent to undertake their duties. Monitor Sub Contractor Performance - Checking sub-contractor safety management, including Risk Assessments and method statements (RAMS. Assist in compiling EHS questionnaires for potential customers and existing customers. Deliver H&S Inductions to new employees and provide Manual handling training. Update Safety Statement / EHS Manual/ EHS Procedures where necessary. Organising annual service and inspection of equipment e.g. fire extinguishers, Fire alarm, Harness inspections. Compiling emergency evacuation procedures/ Fire drills. Monitoring all waste; Recycling/ WEEE/ Hazardous/ General. Updating EHSQ objectives and target report – H&S input. Organising external health and safety training & sourcing PPE. Develop weekly EHS communications. Compiling risk assessments & method statements. Compiling weekly/monthly EHSQ reports. Updating Safety Statement. EHS Quarterly themes. Collating and analysing Good Catch Reports. Carrying out EHS training – for example Manual Handling. Keeping EHS Data bases up to date. Maintaining monitoring reports. Requirements: Experience 2-3 years with a relevant degree qualification. Internal Auditor Training. Manual Handling Instructor. Experience in delivering Training, LOTO, Work at height etc. ISO Management systems experience. Excellent knowledge of ROI legislation. Full Clean Driving licence. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written. Ability to prioritise workload. Willingness to travel as required. Motivated and diligent individual.
