A Quality Engineer in Risk Management is required by a leading Medical Device company by CareerWise Recruitment for our Sligo based client for a 6-month contract position. THE ROLE: * Develop quality procedures to address Risk Management requirements for new and existing products. *Provide specific direction and support to address Risk Management. * Develop and implement product risk assessments for new products and provide coaching and mentoring to product development team members to create risk assessments. * Carry out risk assessment for new and legacy products and present in report format. * Develop, in line with Corporate tools (analysis for new or legacy products. * Identify and implement appropriate risk tools to facilitate identification and mitigation of product risks. * Provide formal training to new product development teams and operations staff regarding risk management processes, tools, and techniques. * Provide direction and guidance to develop and implement quality management system procedures for risk management of active devices. * Ensure product development utilises appropriate engineering and scientific analyses during the product development and commercialisation process for medical device products. * Conduct analysis and investigation of product or quality system issues intended to support the continuous improvement surrounding the quality of products and systems. REQUIREMENTS: * Level 7 qualification or similar diploma in Science or Engineering. * Minimum of 3 years Post Graduate experience, previous experience in a regulated environment desirable. * Good working knowledge of current GMP requirements. * Knowledge of medical device quality standards and guidance documents.
