An innovative corporate organisation that specialise in finished medical device manufacturing are seeking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer to join their Engineering team. You will be based at their head office in Sligo which focuses primarily on design and innovation. A range of injected moulded product delivery products are manufactured on site. The Role. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will join the Engineering department where you will report directly to the Manufacturing Manager on site. You will be a self-starter and have a creative mind that demonstrates innovation and motivation. A keen eye to detail collaborating with a cross-functional team within the organisation working on various upcoming projects is required. In addition you will; Use methodologies to install, validate and qualify new equipment on site. Troubleshoot manufacturing systems and processes on site. Use Lean tools and principles to drive innovation and cost-effectiveness on site. Identifying and executing projects accordingly and provide leadership on such projects. The Person. You will: have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. hold a Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline (preferably Process, Mechatronics or Mechanical. demonstrate experience using SolidWorks or similar design tool as well as strong understanding of mechanical functionality equipment.
