Primary Job Function. Primary responsibility is effectiveness of the Supplier Control quality system to deliver consistent, high quality documents, services, products and processes, which add value to the business. Demonstrates complete understanding of the standards and regulatory bodies that regulate our industry and ensures compliance to Division and Corporate policies and procedures. Provides updates to senior management related to QS effectiveness and status. Develops Division Supplier Control QS strategy in alignment with the business strategy. Works in partnership with Supply Chain and R&D to identify; develop; improve and maintain suppliers providing raw materials, finished goods, services and logistic support. Working with peers, translates strategic needs of the division into executable long-range programs and projects. Provides risk-based solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are compliant, innovative, thorough, practical and consistent with organizational objectives. Interacts effectively with senior management, employees, managers, and cross-functional peers. Excels in effective and positive communications internally, with external partners and regulators. Contributes functional skills and expertise broadly. Is responsible for the effectiveness of their organization (direct/indirect supervision, employee development and resources. Core Job Responsibilities. Group consists of managers/supervisors and individual contributors, staffed and organized to ensure area and division strategies are executed effectively. Supervisory/Management Responsibilities. This position leads the global Quality organization for third party manufacturing. There are 34 reports to this position. (Awaiting org chart) It is a global organization and span across different countries. Position Accountability / Scope. Accountable for the effectiveness of the Supplier Quality System, vision and strategy for the organization and development of the talent pipeline to ensure long term success. Minimum Education. Advanced degree in Life or Physical Science, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering or closely related discipline is preferred. Minimum Experience/Training Required. This person would require experience at in the different aspect of quality management at a senior level .( such as site quality head or equivalent ) The ideal candidate should have strong Technical IVD experience, with experience working with Suppliers and Third-Party manufacturers.
