Our client researches and develops innovative, high quality solutions designed to make diagnostic testing more accurate. They are now looking for a number of R&D Scientists to join their team. As a R&D Scientist, you will join our client’s state-of-the-art facility in Dungloe and get involved in an exciting array of R&D projects to drive our client’s product range forward. Embracing cutting edge, new technologies, you will be involved in biomarker discovery programmes and the interrogation of antibody/protein interactions to stimulate the development of novel multiplexed assays. You’ll join teams working on areas of strategic focus, such as renal disease, oncology, neurodegeneration, gastrointestinal disorders and animal health. Your research will involve international involvement with both national and international collaborative networks and could see you making breakthroughs that change thinking but most importantly, medical outcomes. So, if you are ready to help lead the way in the design, development, verification and clinical validation of innovative diagnostic tests, this is the role you’ve been waiting for. To be considered, you will need: - A BSc, ideally a MSc, in a biomedical or life science subject. - A comprehensive understanding of immunoassay principles. - Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, as a R&D Scientist, you’ll have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
