Liaise with design & construction management consultants on technical, quality, validation and cost issues. Play integral role in the technical specification of control systems for process equipment based on end-user requirements (hardware & software. Develop and implement software solutions through change control as required. Engage with Machine and Equipment Suppliers & New Product Development Teams. Provide input and ensure compliance to site wide automation strategies and standards. Review, progress and approve vendor and consultantdocumentatione.g. URS, FDS,FAT,SAT, and Operator Manuals. Requirement to review and appraise relevant equipment and component technical submittals and proposals. Site based role during construction with an expectation to provide a leading technical role in the compliant delivery of the install. Requires excellent technical knowledge with good operational and/or project engineering experience. Provide oversight and input into all aspects of the design, construction and qualification schedule for the related elements of the facility. Requirements. Primary degree in Science/Engineering discipline. You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with validated Automation systems in the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Direct experience and in-depth knowledge of Siemens S7 automation platform. Ability to work on own initiative, without direct supervision from management.
