An excellent opportunity has arisen within Strandvaus Ltd. for a Graduate Food Safety & Quality Administrator to join our team, based in Sligo. Reporting to the General Manager, you will have responsibility for ensuring a precise and accurate technical service is provided to Company’s customer base. The key responsibilities for this role include: - Accountable for achievement of site Quality KPIs implement and maintain HACCP standards. - To take ownership and manage quality of all transport and warehouse operations. - Accountable for the correct set up, calibration and verification of all quality instruments. - Investigation of complaints and analysis and compilation of reports. - Create and deliver Quality training packages and roll out to all employees. - Compiling, trending and communication of Quality reports. - Manage site internal audit schedules, recording of non-conformance's, identifying root cause and implementation of Corrective and Preventive actions. - Drive continuous improvement and best practices and provide customers with first class level of service. The Candidate: - Recognised Science qualification. - Experience of working within a food sector quality assurance setting preferable, but not essential. -Excellent working knowledge of HACCP and Quality Systems combined with excellent IT skills. -Demonstrable experience of delivering on improvement projects. - Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are required for this role with strong planning and organisational ability. - Own transport is preferred but not important. Experience: - Quality assurance: 1 year.
