Equipment Process Engineer – Sligo. Exciting new opportunity to become involved at the early stages of a new biologics facility in Sligo. We require an Equipment process engineer who will specialise in and become a site SME for lyophilisation (freeze Drying) and aseptic sterile fill finish equipment. This role initially will support the delivery, installation, commissioning, qualification and cycle development of a Lyomax Freeze Drier so expertise in this area is an essential requirement. Become the site engineeringSubject Matter Expertfor Freeze Drying equipment from design phase to sustaining operations. As equipment expert you will manage all set up and operational investigations related to the equipment and drive process improvements and operational excellence. You will play a key role in the introduction of new products to the site and champion the maintenance excellence programme related to your area. We are seeking an 3rd level honours degree in Science/Engineering based disciplines. This qualification should be accompanied with a minimum of 5 years experience and in particular a strong background in commissioning, and validation of Lyophilisation / freeze drying equipment. Proficiency in automation and a knowledge of GAMP5 within a sterile FDA regulated environment is important. In addition to the strong technical expertise, a capable project manager who can understand engineering processes through logical, data driven, hands on approach will be a good fit for this role. Cycle development and process and equipment validation in a sterile manufacturing environment is key.
