Financial Accountant. Our client has significant interest in the retail convenience sector in the North West. In addition, they are also a long established and well known national sales and distribution business. Our client wishes to employ a Financial Accountant to play a senior role in contributing to the continuing success of the business. The overall function of the Financial Accountant will be to control and co-ordinate the accounting function of the business. There will also be opportunities to take on some more commercial tasks in the organisation should the individual demonstrate the necessary ability and flair. The primary role will however be to provide a stable and reliable accounting function to support the business. The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director on a regular and ongoing basis. They will hold a professional accountancy qualification from one of the recognised bodies, will be fully computer literate with experience in using recognised computerised accounting packages on a day to day basis and ideally will have post qualification industry experience in the retail sector.
