What you need to know. You will work as a Quality Engineer for our client, a highly successful, global and rapidly evolving manufacturing company in Roscommon . You will be responsible for our quality and engineering systems to determine critical part features and review manufacturability in accordance with ISO13485, The Medical Device Directive 93/42EEC and FDA Quality Systems Regulations. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Provide engineering support to operations ensuring consistent application of quality techniques. You will be required to approve the release of a finished product and oversee the product records. Resolve quality issues of capability, tolerancing, and materials related issues. Coordinate the CAPA system by driving corrective and preventative actions. Resolve quality issues by identifying problems, examining solution options, implementing action plans, SOP review, supervising administrative staff and providing resources via the company’s documentation system. You will be responsible for site projects such as Lean Manufacturing and Line Walks. Facilitate and promote use of appropriate problem- solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective action. What are we looking for? 3rd level Degree in Quality Management/Engineering/Science or related discipline. At least 5 years working experience in the Medical Device/Pharmaceutical sector. Must have experience and knowledge of ISO13485, FDA Quality Systems Regulations. Strong project leadership, facilitation and interpersonal skills and ability. Excellent team building, communication, people management and leadership skills. Strong team player with excellent communication, collaboration and engagement skills. Experience in a Polymer Extrusion environment a strong advantage. Desirable. Diagnostic manufacturing experience within a quality role.
